Missguided Cigarette Trouser Obsession

Hello beautiful people.

So on Black Friday, I stumbled upon Missguided (as most of the female population did) just in the hope of making the most of the discount and sales they had going on that day.  I didn't want to spend a fortune, just try and find some little gems that may be less expensive than they once were... because who doesn't love a little bit of a save!

I found these light pink cigarette style trousers and I literally clicked 'add to bag' without a second thought.  Two key points that made me decide then and there that they were mine:

1- They looked UHHMAZING on the model.

2-They were under £10 (around £9.50) I think!

They are just the perfect staple pair of trousers, go with so much, can be dressed up or dressed down, and perfect for all year round!
Look out for more outfit posts featuring these in the future!

LOVE THEM.

Primark SS15 Press Day

Hi my lovers.

So I was very kindly invited by Primark to go and take a little peek at their new Spring/Summer 2015 collection in London, and my gosh was it beautiful.

Primark for me is not a 'guilty pleasure' but more a shop that I can rely on to find some great pieces, some basic pieces, and presents for others! I love it. Basically..

For SS15 they are going for the Club Tropicana theme, with a lot of flamingos, palm tree prints and pastel colours.  YES. Yes for all of the above.

The line is so beautiful and the clothing felt great quality and when you remind yourself of the price tag, it just made me happy inside!

I took some photos of the event, of the items I particularly loved, so I thought it only fair for you to see them too!

Let me know what pieces are your favourite! It's not even Christmas yet and I'm now excited for Spring!

Enjoy..

  Outfit Post.

Aaron and I decided to have a 'romantical' evening at Somerset House Ice Rink, followed by drinks at the Ice Bar.  It was the perfect evening, and I thought I would show you my outfit for the evening.
A few of these items are my latest and greatest finds from Primark!

Coat: Anita&Green for New Look
Gillet: Zara
Leather look leggings- Primark
Boots- Primark
Clutch-Primark.
(I was also wearing a white knitted Bershka jumper)

I wanted to go for a pretty sophisticated look, but I would wear this outfit on a day to day basis as there is nothing better than a pair of over the knee boots and some faux fur ;)

Lots of love xo

HAIR CHALK!

Good evening/afternoon/morning...
So, I decided to give in to the hype and test out some hair chalk
I am somebody who has been every colour of the rainbow when it comes to hair dye, so hair chalk to me is a fantastic alternative for a non permanent fun colour.
I used the 'Colour Vibes' hair chalk in Turqiouse which cost a very affordable £2.59 with free P+P from eBay.  They have a multitude of colours, so if you don't love turquoise, go for a pink or a purple etc.
This is how the chalk comes, it reminded me of MAC blush packaging!
It also comes with a sponge, and the packaging has very easy to follow instructions!
I was really pleasantly surprised at how well the colour transferred on to my hair.  It does have a lot of fall out, and make sure you have a towel and some hairspray at the ready!
I would highly recommend this product! It's so much fun and washed out completely later on in the day!

Bershka Jumper Obsession

So, I was just innocently browsing the Bershka store on London's Oxford St and happened to stumble upon this jumper, for a 'massive' £9.99.
I had been lusting after a pure white, cosy jumper and for me the off the shoulder thannng we have going on here was an added bonus.  Comes in a few colours, black and a gorgeous bottle green I think) The quality is lovely and I think it's going to be a complete staple piece for me for Autum/Winter.
(Time to insert a few shameful jumper selfies...)
Head on over to Bershka- they have some gorgeous pieces! http://www.bershka.com/gb/en/

Vampy/Smokey Makeup

So right now it is Halloween eve! I don't usually get too excited for Halloween, however, it for me starts the official beginning of winter, and the Christmas excitement can begin....

My contribution to Halloween on my Youtube channel and also here on my blog was my everyday Vampy/Smokey makeup look which has been pretty go to for me! I just love a vampy lip and so I thought I would share a few photos of the look.

Head over to my YouTube channel if you haven't come from there already and my video will be live on Halloween evening! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFANp2v_yDTPmggmxF_HCCQ

I do prefer my skin tone to still look pretty warm and contoured even during the winter months where it is pretty obvious I am not tanned.  My favourite bronzing product currently is the Bourjois  BB Bronzing cream.

For a night time look I would add a black eyeliner to my waterline an would probably carry the darker eyeshadow (Naked 2 Palette Busted) under my lower lash line.
This little baby is the main event.  Kate Moss for Rimmel London in 04.  The perfect deep purple vampy shade.  For me, I find that a purple colour works better than a red next to my skin tone. This Lipstick range is fantastic across the board in price, quality and variety.
With it being Halloween I had to incorporate something a little bit more Halloween appropriate to wear, and this three quarter lengthen sleeve top is so cool and a real statement top that I would wear all year round, not just for Halloween.  The ribcage heart is also covered in sparkle and glitter which doesn't come up on camera.  This top retails for £6.99- BARGAIN!!
Hope you have a Happy Halloween! Let me know if you would like me to post more make up shots, or what your favourite Vampy lipstick is!

Lots of love guys xo

Casual/Autumn OOTD.

Hiya.
Simple out of the day, very much a staple outfit for me when I am having a day like I did that day (Trains, shopping, travelling)
So easy and go to, and made a little bit more exciting just by adding the heeled boots instead of my trainers. (Nothing wrong with trainers) ;)

The jumper is from New Look and is a cropped, high neck jumper, and I love it so much! It's so soft and a lovely fit! Maybe go a size up, just to eliminate too much stomach when it's so cold!
My jeans are the classic Topshop 'Mom' jeans that I purchased last year! They are a waist 28 and length 30 I believe, but they are a bit too big on me now.  Perfect for tucking layers into though and giving the classic 'boyfriend' look.
I rolled a pair of knee high Primark socks over the top of the boots to keep my ankles and lower legs warm, and I think they look super autumnal and wintery peeking out of the trousers and top of the boots. My boots I should mention are from Rubi Shoes in Sydney, Australia, but they are just a simple chunky black boot, similar to any of this style you can find in most high street shops.
Hope you enjoyed this post lovelies.. Cannot tell you how windy it was... First world problems.

Anita+Green For New Look | New Coat!

I found this coat in New Look after much hunting and returning and deliberation over other coats.
Who knew just trying to find a winter coat could be such a stress!
Obviously this is one of maybe 3 coats I plan to have in my life for winter 2014-2015.
I have been obsessed with the different A/W coats that have been appearing all over other blogs, website and magazines, and I think this year you can have a real variety in the winter coats you buy.

This coat is by Anita + Green for New Look which was a brand I had not come across until I saw a rail of the Anita + Green clothing.

I was obsessed with the faux fur collar that we have going on here. (Not detachable) I kept going back to it in the shop just to appreciate the softness and beauty of the collar.  What I found so interesting about it is that it is such a long collar in length.  It's a scarf and a collar in one! What more could you want!
It's a not overly long in length, which for some people may be a negative about it, but it does cover my backside and the sleeves are pretty generous in length also.  I am just about 5'7 and so if you are shorter than me it will be longer on you... obviously! ;)
For me, this is such a go to coat for me.  I am still in the market for a pastel coloured coat which I would like in more over sized, trench coat style, and potentially a Parker jacket also! So lots more on the coat front coming your way!
Over all, I think for  the price of this coat which was a grand total of £55 you have yourself a really nice quality, classy and versatile coat.

I love Beyonce.

This blogpost is a short and sweet one.

O U T F I T   P O S T

Thought I would share this outfit from last week today.  It's pretty casual but very  'go to' for me at the moment.  It's the kind of outfit that can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn for many occasions.

Jumper- SheInside
Trousers- Topshop
Shoes- Primark
(Links to the jumper and trousers will be linked at the bottom of this post)

It's a great style of outfit for this time of the year.  A coat of any colour would work well over the top and am a girl who loves her monochrome! It's simple and classy and very affordable altogether as an outfit.
My hair is up in a half up half down style, with lose (dropped) curls.  Typical hair look for me these days....

Topshop Trousers -http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?searchTerm=cigarette+trousers&storeId=12556&productId=16693953&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057
Beyonce Jumper - I cannot seem to find this on SheInside's website, this is possibly because I ordered it over a month ago and I think they bring in new items pretty quickly.. but keep an eye out because you never know when it might re appear!
They do however still do a 'Don't worry beyonce' Vest top! So go go go go http://www.sheinside.com/White-Sleeveless-Don-t-Worry-Be-Yonce-Print-T-Shirt-p-178258-cat-1738.html

Scent Loving.

For me, there is nothing more comforting and able to make me feel the most content than finding certain scents/smells.  I think a massive advantage of being part of the Blogger/Vlogger world is that we are all so generous in sharing our current loves and holy grail products that smell incredible and help to create a relaxing and happy atmosphere.  Wether it be through a Youtube video of somebody's monthly favourites, a Fall/Autumn tag, or even an Instagram post, you are never at a loss for getting some sort of inspiration for your perfect kind of candle or fragrance.

These are four products that I like to use to help me feel my most relaxed and happy when I smell them.

From left to right: Yankee Candle 'Salted Caramel' Warm Winter Berry Candle from Primark, Marc Jacobs 'Daisy Dream' Primark's 'He Loves Me' Eau de Toilette.

This may seem like a random post, why would I not separate these products into posts about Candles separately or my favourite fragrance for example.  My reason for this is because I wanted to draw upon the fact that however different, a certain smell or scent can completely change your mood and day.

The Autumn/Winter time brings many positives and negatives with it, and living in the UK I find that we all secretly love to hate the cold as it gives us the excuse to burn as many beautiful smelling candles as we possibly can without setting our houses on fire!!

For me, I like to come in from whatever sort of day I have had a light my Yankee Candle, which is currently the 'Salted Caramel' in the smaller jar.  This is the PERFECT autumn/fall candle, it's sweet with such a warmth too it, and I think until I go slightly mad with their Christmas selection (stay tuned for that post) it's my current favourite candle.
A top tip from me is to go into a shop selling Yankee Candles and just smell them all, you won't love every flavour but you'll be in a much better mood afterwards.
This candle caught my eye in Primark of all places the other day.  It's pretty expensive at a whopping one pound... I always have my reservations with very cheap candles, as I worry that they won't  have an impact on the room scent wise.  Yes it's also lovely to have a non scented candle and just have the appearance of the candle relax you and make you feel all warm and cosy, but for me.. I'm all about that smell.  I was very pleasantly surprised by this candle as it gives off a very rich smell which lasts a considerable amount of time after you've blown it out.
Head to Primark if you can and have a look at their candle range.  Highly recommend!

This is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream, highly reviewed and adored online and I'm sure the majority of you will either own this perfume or have at least sampled a smell of it's beauty.  I have also owned Marc Jacob's 'Dot' perfume after swapping over from the Dior side.  This to me, helps to make me feel so fresh and happy, I could almost walk out the door like Bambi and skip down the street.  From the moment I first put this on my boyfriend pricked up his ears like a puppy and said 'you smell amazing'.  I don't know about anyone else, but that's a compliment we all want to hear.
True to form, it's unsurprisingly a very floral/fruity/spicy scent and that for me is the kind of perform I enjoy most.  Something girly with a little bit more edge to it.  Go and give this a spritz to brighten up your day.  Also is it just me or does the bottle not remind you of a snowman.......
And finally for the blog post about finding the scents/smells that make me the most happy, I give you a very 'on a whim' find for that luxury shop, Primark.  I was drawn in by the packaging of this, I think a floral design is clearly my thing. I was so surprised by the smell of this and how long it lasts throughout the day.  You would never guess it was Primark and for a mighty six pounds you don't need to be shy when applying it.  Primark, I noticed have a range of perfumes/body sprays and I think they are absolutely worth it if you are on a tight budget or want something to fill in whilst you save for your favourite perfume.

I hope you enjoyed this post lovelies.  Just to round everything off, I wanted to share with you all how much I love these products and how much they have an effect on my everyday mood.  It has become compulsive for me to have those candles burning at night, and I can't leave the house without spraying one of the two perfumes on me.  I think we all grow fond of certain scents/smells and they remind us of being content/happy.

Let me know your favourites!!

Love Sarahloulou xo
