Rodial Skincare | REVIEW

Hello lovely people

So if you are not a subscriber or viewer of mine on Youtube then you won't have seen my latest video, my 'Everyday makeup routine' which featured a couple of products from the company Rodial.

Just incase you missed it or want to see the products I used in action, click on the link below...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn2agueWXFo&list=UUFANp2v_yDTPmggmxF_HCCQ

I was sent these products to review by the company Rodial, and as stated in the video, I only work with brands or agree to receive products or sponsorships that I know I will enjoy, or will benefit me and I think I can honestly talk about to you guys!

Right.. shall we get on with it! Lets talk about the products.

1- Rodial Dragonsblood Cleanser

This cleanser was a no brainer for me, I knew that I HAD to try it for a few reasons.  The first being the word 'Dragonsblood'.  I have already been using the Nip+Fab dragonsblood face pads, and I think they are fantastic for a more oily skin type (which is me, oily-combination).
I have always got on very well with cleansing waters in the past, and as Rodial are a much more luxury line, I knew that my skin would enjoy the product.
I was right!
The product has a very refreshing, citrus kind of smell, and I find that to be really refreshing and works well to wake up the skin day and night.  It's very gentle- so I would recommend for a dry skin also.

It removes makeup, doesn't pull out your eyelashes which for me is a priority and as it says on the bottle, you can feel your makeup melting away.
I have been using this product for a good amount of time now, and I have noticed my skin is so much more healthy looking, softer and has never felt more cleansed after use.

This product retails at £29, which I can appreciate myself is quite pricey! However, if you are looking to give your skin a fantastic boost, and rejuvenation (big word for me) I would HIGHLY recommend you give it a try! The bottle is also a great size, at 200ml, and comes with a pump which always makes life easier!

2- Rodial Instaglam Highlighter

Now, I am a COMPLETE highlight fanatic, any new highlighter, brightener, concealer that I hear about, I feel like I need to try it.  I was really interested in the Instaglam higher as it is yellow toned, and to me is very similar in it's purpose and application to the YSL touché éclat.  It is a fantastic product, that dispenses the perfect amount of product through a small brush at the top of the product, where you can control how much is dispensed by the base of the product.

With it being yellow toned and shimmer/glitter less it actually gives a much more natural highlight, and in the video tutorial, you will see where I like to use it.
It also works really well as a base for a more shimmery highlight, if you wanted to glam up your look, day to night for example.
I have to say that I think this product is better than the touché éclat, and being a similar price, I would recommend you give this a try!

It retails for £25 and I think it is worth every penny.

This is where Rodial recommend you use it, and it it where I tend to use it also...
  • Twist to dispense and apply to areas of face to highlight and define
  • Blend with fingertips
  • Apply under eyebrows and to inner corner of eyes to open them up
  • Apply to bridge of nose to slim and define
  • Apply to high point of cheekbones to accentuate and define
I will leave a link below, so that you can check out the Rodial website and have a good browse!
They offer something for everyone so whether you are looking for some new makeup, a new sincare routine or products for your body, they have it all!

Lots of love

Missguided Cigarette Trouser Obsession

Hello beautiful people.

So on Black Friday, I stumbled upon Missguided (as most of the female population did) just in the hope of making the most of the discount and sales they had going on that day.  I didn't want to spend a fortune, just try and find some little gems that may be less expensive than they once were... because who doesn't love a little bit of a save!

I found these light pink cigarette style trousers and I literally clicked 'add to bag' without a second thought.  Two key points that made me decide then and there that they were mine:

1- They looked UHHMAZING on the model.

2-They were under £10 (around £9.50) I think!

They are just the perfect staple pair of trousers, go with so much, can be dressed up or dressed down, and perfect for all year round!
Look out for more outfit posts featuring these in the future!

LOVE THEM.

Primark SS15 Press Day

Hi my lovers.

So I was very kindly invited by Primark to go and take a little peek at their new Spring/Summer 2015 collection in London, and my gosh was it beautiful.

Primark for me is not a 'guilty pleasure' but more a shop that I can rely on to find some great pieces, some basic pieces, and presents for others! I love it. Basically..

For SS15 they are going for the Club Tropicana theme, with a lot of flamingos, palm tree prints and pastel colours.  YES. Yes for all of the above.

The line is so beautiful and the clothing felt great quality and when you remind yourself of the price tag, it just made me happy inside!

I took some photos of the event, of the items I particularly loved, so I thought it only fair for you to see them too!

Let me know what pieces are your favourite! It's not even Christmas yet and I'm now excited for Spring!

Enjoy..

  Outfit Post.

Aaron and I decided to have a 'romantical' evening at Somerset House Ice Rink, followed by drinks at the Ice Bar.  It was the perfect evening, and I thought I would show you my outfit for the evening.
A few of these items are my latest and greatest finds from Primark!

Coat: Anita&Green for New Look
Gillet: Zara
Leather look leggings- Primark
Boots- Primark
Clutch-Primark.
(I was also wearing a white knitted Bershka jumper)

I wanted to go for a pretty sophisticated look, but I would wear this outfit on a day to day basis as there is nothing better than a pair of over the knee boots and some faux fur ;)

Lots of love xo

HAIR CHALK!

Good evening/afternoon/morning...
So, I decided to give in to the hype and test out some hair chalk
I am somebody who has been every colour of the rainbow when it comes to hair dye, so hair chalk to me is a fantastic alternative for a non permanent fun colour.
I used the 'Colour Vibes' hair chalk in Turqiouse which cost a very affordable £2.59 with free P+P from eBay.  They have a multitude of colours, so if you don't love turquoise, go for a pink or a purple etc.
This is how the chalk comes, it reminded me of MAC blush packaging!
It also comes with a sponge, and the packaging has very easy to follow instructions!
I was really pleasantly surprised at how well the colour transferred on to my hair.  It does have a lot of fall out, and make sure you have a towel and some hairspray at the ready!
I would highly recommend this product! It's so much fun and washed out completely later on in the day!
Check out my YouTube video on it right here.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfmePlj9uXQ&list=UUFANp2v_yDTPmggmxF_HCCQ

Bershka Jumper Obsession

So, I was just innocently browsing the Bershka store on London's Oxford St and happened to stumble upon this jumper, for a 'massive' £9.99.
I had been lusting after a pure white, cosy jumper and for me the off the shoulder thannng we have going on here was an added bonus.  Comes in a few colours, black and a gorgeous bottle green I think) The quality is lovely and I think it's going to be a complete staple piece for me for Autum/Winter.
(Time to insert a few shameful jumper selfies...)
Head on over to Bershka- they have some gorgeous pieces! http://www.bershka.com/gb/en/
                                                                 Peace and Love xoxo
